Due to the continued emergency situation in the Merrimack Valley, Friday’s Commuter Rail service on the Haverhill Line will operate only between North Station and Reading Station.
Busing will be available for passengers at Haverhill and Bradford stations, taking passengers to Anderson-Woburn Station on the Lowell Line. No train service or busing alternative option will be available between North Wilmington and Lawrence.
Due to the potential for higher ridership levels on the Lowell Line, Keolis and the MBTA will deploy additional capacity to help accommodate this service.
In addition to Haverhill busing and the Lowell line, the Newburyport Line is an alternative option.
Customers are also encouraged to utilize Anderson-Woburn Station on the Lowell Line. Please note that parking charges are suspended at Anderson-Woburn on Friday, September 14.
Keolis and MBTA teams will continue to be in contact with local emergency officials, and we will provide an update as often as is possible and appropriate relating to service.
