Ferry fares depend on your route, as well as your origin and destination stops. There are 2 main ferry routes:

  • Charlestown: Runs from Boston to Charlestown
  • Commuter: Makes stops in Boston, Hingham, Hull, and at Logan International Airport

10-Ride

$35 – $185

Packet of 10 one-way tickets for a specific route. Expire 90 days after purchase date. Available on mTicket or as paper tickets.

How to Pay Your Ferry Fare

You can pay your ferry fare on board the boat, but we recommend buying a ticket or pass before you board. A crew member will check your ticket once you’re on board.

Then, board the ferry

A crew member will verify your fare either as you board or just after the boat departs. 

When you arrive

You don’t have to validate your ticket when you reach your destination.
