Gloucester Drawbridge Full Channel Closure and Height Restriction, June 7 - 11
Updated on May 27, 2021
The channel under the drawbridge will be closed to all vessel traffic from 6 AM on Monday, June 7 through 6 AM on Wednesday, June 9. This will allow crews to install the movable drawbridge span over the Annisquam River.
An additional vessel height restriction will be in place from 6 AM on Wednesday, June 9 through 4 PM on Friday, June 11. This will allow us to install and test electrical components for the new movable span. Vessels that don’t require a bridge opening will be able to pass during the height restriction.
Mariners can contact the Harbormaster via VHF CH 16/13.
