MBTA to Resume Regularly Scheduled Service on the Haverhill Commuter Rail Line

Posted on September 15, 2018

Last updated September 15, 2018, 8:20 PM

The MBTA is resuming regularly scheduled service on the Haverhill Commuter Rail Line beginning Sunday, September 16, making all stops, including stops at Lawrence, Andover, and Ballardvale.

Understanding many customers have been unable to retrieve personal vehicles from parking facilities in this area, parking enforcement efforts have been suspended at MBTA-owned parking facilities. This means that customers will not be charged for parking at facilities associated with these stations until train service at those stations is restored. The MBTA encourages customers to retrieve their vehicles only when it is safe to do so.

The MBTA and Keolis Commuter Services remain in contact with public safety personnel, and will provide updates on service as they become available.

Customers should check MBTA.com for service alerts, as well as the Haverhill Line schedule.

Customers can also sign up for T-Alerts and monitor service information at @MBTA and @MBTA_CR.
