Event Description

The MBTA is hosting a public meeting about the Reading Turnback Track project.

This project proposes to build a turn track alongside the existing Commuter Rail Haverhill Line north of Reading station. The new track will allow the MBTA to increase weekday Commuter Rail frequency into and out of Boston on the Haverhill Line to 30-minute intervals all day.

At this meeting, we'll provide an update on the project's progress, outline its benefits, and answer questions.

Accommodations

This meeting is accessible to people with disabilities and those with limited English proficiency. The MBTA provides reasonable accommodations and/or language assistance free of charge upon request, as available. Requests should be made as soon as possible prior to the meeting. For services that typically require extra time to arrange including CART and interpretation or translation in additional languages other than English, requests should be made at least 10 business days prior to the meeting date.
