More Information About the Forum

The forum will go over general background program information, as well as the MBTA’s general goals and objectives for program development.

This forum does not constitute a letter of interest (LOI), request for qualifications (RFQ), a request for proposals (RFP), or any other procurement document, nor does it represent a commitment to issue an RFQ or an RFP in the future. This forum does not commit the MBTA to any specific form of procurement or to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.

Participating in this forum is not required to participate in a future procurement process. A contractor may choose to not participate in this forum and still participate in any subsequent RFQ or RFP process for the project. Participants choosing to attend this event will not, merely by virtue of attending, be deemed to be “bidders” or “proposers” on the project in any sense, and no such participant will have any preference, special designation, advantage or disadvantage whatsoever in any subsequent procurement process for the project.

One-on-One Meetings (Optional)

The MBTA will schedule confidential one-on-one meetings with interested companies for Tuesday and Wednesday, November 19 and 20, at 10 Park Plaza. We're looking to connect with companies that have experience and bonding capacity to lead the construction of transportation infrastructure projects in the $1 billion range. Meetings will take place between 8 AM and 5 PM for 90 minutes or less. Attendees will be solely responsible for all costs associated with travel and attendance.

The general meeting agenda is below. Participants are expected to be decision makers within their companies and familiar with alternative delivery construction projects. Participants may also ask questions and the MBTA may provide responses, if possible. Any responses provided by the MBTA during these meetings are subject to change.
