Test MBTA Go
We're building MBTA Go, a mobile app to provide riders with reliable, real-time information about MBTA service. This app is in “beta” and not available on the App Store or Google Play.
We’re looking for riders to test MBTA Go. You’ll need an iPhone with iOS 16.4+ to participate.
How to Install the App on iPhone
Keep this page open and follow the instructions below on your iPhone to install the app.
1. Install TestFlight
Get TestFlight from the App Store and return to this page.
2. Open TestFlight
After accepting the terms and conditions, the screen will prompt you to redeem a code. Do not select "Redeem." Return to this page and proceed to step 3.
3. Install MBTA Go through TestFlight
Click the button below to open MBTA Go. Then, select “Accept” to install the app to your iPhone.
Share Your Feedback
In addition to testing the app, you can share your experience with us. Your feedback helps us resolve issues, make improvements, and prioritize what we work on next.
- While using the MBTA app, take a screenshot.
- Select the preview of the screenshot on your phone
- Select “Done”.
- Select “Share Beta Feedback”.
- Fill out the text field and submit.
- Open TestFlight.
- Select the MBTA app.
- Under “What to Test,” select “Send Beta Feedback”.
- Fill out the text field and submit.

Testing on an Android
Currently, MBTA Go is only available for testing on iPhones. We’re working on an Android version now.
