Red Line trains will be limited to 10 MPH between Charles/MGH and Kendall/MIT in both directions on Monday, October 16, through Tuesday, October 17.
Trains must operate slowly over new track that was installed over the weekend while its ballast settles.
Regularly scheduled service will resume at the start of service on Wednesday, October 17.

Buses replace Red Line service between Park Street and Kendall/MIT Stations on weekends through Sunday, December 17, due to the Longfellow Bridge Project.
The bridge is scheduled to be open and Red Line train service will operate for the Head of the Charles weekend (October 21-22) and Thanksgiving weekend (November 25 - 26)
Red Line train service will resume at the start of service on the following Monday. All shuttle bus stops are accessible for persons with disabilities.
Customers should expect delays in service due to speed restrictions for a minimum of 48 hours after the weekend track work.

Charles/MGH (inbound shuttle buses at Cambridge St @ Grove St, outbound at Cambridge St @ Charles St near the Liberty Hotel)

Elevator 804 PARK STREET - Tremont Street to the Lobby will be reconstructed and will remain out of service until January 2018.
If entering the station, cross Tremont Street to the Boston Common and use Park Street Elevator 978 to the Green Line westbound platform. Red Line platform access is available via the elevator beyond the fare gates. If exiting the station, please travel down the Winter Street Concourse toward Downtown Crossing Station, exit through the fare gates, and take Downtown Crossing Elevator 892 to the street level.
