This spring, we're making changes to bus, subway, Commuter Rail, and ferry service. Service for The RIDE will remain the same.

Service Changes by Mode

Subway Service Changes

Effective March 12, 2023

The Red Line will see departure time changes throughout the day on weekdays.

The Blue and Orange lines will see departure time changes throughout the day on weekdays, Saturday, and Sunday.

There will be no service changes to the Green and Mattapan lines.

These routes will have more service than they did in the winter:

Ferry Service Changes

Service resumes for the East Boston Ferry (F3) on March 27, 2023.

Weekend service resumes for F2H, which serves Hingham, Hull, Logan Airport, and Long Wharf, on Memorial Day weekend.

All ferries are back to full pre-COVID service levels.

We're proposing changes to our Disparate Impact and Disproportionate Burden (DI/DB) Policy and Public Engagement Plan (PEP). These policies are a part of our compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin.
