• Service Change Upcoming

  On the weekends of Feb 1-2, Feb 15-16 & Mar 8-9, express and local shuttle buses will replace regular train service between Swampscott and North Station on the Newburyport/Rockport Line to allow for bridge replacement work. cdn.MBTA.com/sites/default/files/media/route_pdfs/2025-02-15-newbury-rockport-weekend-shuttle-schedule.pdf
  

  - A diversion schedule will be in effect.
  - Express service will operate between Swampscott and North Station.
  - Local service will make an extra stop at Wonderland Station for a Blue Line connection.
  - Passengers at Chelsea may also consider a Silver Line SL3 connection.
  - This allows for work in support of MassDOT’s Maffa Way/Mystic Avenue Bridge Superstructure Replacement project.
  
  Here is a list of the shuttle bus locations:
  
  North Station:
  Nashua Street on the Southern side of the station.
  
  Chelsea:
  On Everrett Avenue by Vale Street, North of the station.
  
  Wonderland:
  At the station busway, Berth E.
  
  Lynn:
  At the Lynn Station busway, 325 Broad Street, Berth 1. There will be no service at Lynn Interim Station, passengers must make their way to the old station's busway.
  
  Swampscott:
  On Railroad Avenue, just South of the station.
