Service ChangeOn the weekend of September 14-15, express buses will replace regular train service between Braintree & South Station on the Middleborough, Kingston and Greenbush Lines to allow for Red Line track improvement work. bit.ly/4dShvfAA dedicated schedule is available at South Station and online at MBTA.com
All Greenbush line trains will originate and terminate at Braintree station. Greenbush trains will depart Braintree on their Quincy Center time.
A diversion schedule will be in effect on the Middleborough, Kingston and Greenbush Lines. Buses will be free & accessible. Passengers to Quincy Center may use the Red Line diversion buses. There will be no direct shuttle buses to or from JFK/UMass.

Elevator ClosureQuincy Center Elevator 896 (Commuter Rail platform to lobby) unavailableTo exit when traveling from South Station or JFK/UMass, take a Braintree-bound Red Line train to Quincy Center and use Quincy Center Elevator 810. To exit when traveling inbound on the Middleboro, Kingston or Greenbush Line, notify a Commuter Rail conductor as soon as possible so arrangements can be made for the train to stop at Braintree. At Braintree, take an Alewife-bound Red Line train to Quincy Center and use Quincy Center Elevator 810. Please contact station personnel for assistance. To board the Commuter Rail, take a Braintree-bound Red Line train to Braintree, then transfer to a Middleboro, Kingston or Greenbush Line train.
