Accessibility Initiatives Report

On December 6, 2024, the Department of System-Wide Accessibility released its newest updates to MBTA access initiatives. The report provides descriptions and updates on completed and ongoing accessibility projects.

Public Meeting on Accessibility

The MBTA and Judge Patrick King hosted a virtual public meeting on December 11, 2024.

The meeting provided an update on our path towards compliance with the Daniels-Finegold v. MBTA settlement agreement. The Assistant General Manager for System-Wide Accessibility and other MBTA officials gave updates and answered questions about ongoing accessibility initiatives.

Note: The meeting focused on bus, subway, and Commuter Rail accessibility, not The RIDE.
