Celtics Victory Parade
Celebrate with the Celtics as they roll through the city on duck boats in honor of their 2024 NBA Championship.
This Celtics “Rolling Rally” is the 13th that Boston has celebrated since 2001 alongside the Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots. Each parade draws an estimate of one million people, which means trains and stations near the route will be crowded.
Additional staff and Transit Police will be available at all subway and Commuter Rail stations, and we’ll be running extra trains to accommodate more passengers. Here are some other things you should know about taking the T to this year’s parade.
Parade Schedule and Route
Duck boats will roll out from TD Garden at 11 AM on Friday, June 21, pass City Hall, and head down Boylston and Tremont streets to Copley Square.
Start by scoping out your viewing location along the route, and then use our trip planner to find out how to get there.
If you plan to arrive in Boston after 9 AM, you can avoid the morning rush hour and have time to find an optimal spot to watch the parade.
Planning Your Trip
There are many subway stops along the parade route and within walking distance.
We'll be running rush-hour service on the subway all day. Commuter Rail schedules will adjust and some trains will have extra cars to accommodate fans.
Ferries will operate on regular weekday schedules. Please note that ferries operate on a first come, first serve basis, and vessel capacity is limited.
