Event Description
The MBTA Capital Investment Plan (CIP) is the five-year financial plan that funds all the MBTA’s capital projects. Capital projects are investments or activities related to acquiring, renewing, constructing, improving, or maintaining a capital asset, including project planning and design. At this meeting, we will provide an overview of the proposed FY 2024 – 2028 MBTA CIP and discuss some of our key capital projects.
Join Us and Be Heard
We want to hear from you. The MBTA is seeking comments from the public on the proposed FY 24-28 CIP. Tell us how we can improve our transportation system, enhance our capacity where needed, and build new projects to help communities prosper and get residents where they need to go. Public feedback is important to the CIP development process, and we appreciate your input.
During the meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to provide comments on the proposed CIP. The public comment period is March 23 – April 24. You may also share your comments by email, online, or US mail:

- Fill out our online CIP comment form—you'll find a link to it on the main CIP page starting March 23

Chinese and Spanish interpreters, translated materials, and Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) services will be provided for this meeting. American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be provided via Zoom.
