Event Description
The MBTA and the Winchester Station Project Team held a virtual public meeting where the project team gave an update on the completed construction activities to date and the work anticipated in the upcoming months.
Once complete, the MBTA Winchester Center Station Accessibility Improvements Project will include:
- New stairs, access ramps and adding new elevators for better accessibility
- New canopies, signs, railings, and lighting for safety and security
- Adding benches, bike racks, a public address system, and other amenities for comfort and convenience
- Updating walkways & sidewalks
