Public Meeting | Bus Electrification Update and North Cambridge Carhouse Design (Virtual)
Meeting Info
Attendees: General Public
Event Description
At this meeting, we provided updates on our bus electrification program's progress, including construction of the new Quincy and Arborway bus facilities. We also outlined our plan for modernization of all bus facilities to accommodate electric buses.
In addition, we presented an overview of the upcoming conversion of the bus fleet operating on Routes 71 and 73 from electric trolleybuses to battery electric buses (BEBs). This includes the conceptual design for the renovation of the North Cambridge Carhouse, which will house the Route 71 and 73 BEBs. Afterward, we answered questions about our bus electrification projects and strategy.
