Event Description
The Robert Street Bridge carries the Needham Line over Robert Street near Roslindale Village Station. The steel bridge, which was built in 1898 and last rehabilitated in 1985, is nearing the end of its useful life and will be completely replaced to meet the MBTA’s reliability and modernization needs.
Join us to learn more about the Robert Street Bridge Replacement Project. During this meeting, the MBTA Capital Delivery Department and its project team will present a construction update so stakeholders know what to expect during replacement of the bridge. Following the presentation, the team will be available to answer questions as time permits. A document will be posted online with the questions and answers that the team was unable to get to during the meeting, if any.
