Green Line Closure Travel Options
During this closure, we'll address speed restrictions as part of the Track Improvement Plan. We'll do additional work at each of the impacted stations, including lighting repairs, painting, and deep cleaning.

ShuttleGreen Line D Branch: Shuttle buses replace service between Riverside and Kenmore, November 9-10, due to signal work. Union Sq. riders should use C Branch trains during this work. C Branch trains will run between Cleveland Circle and Union Square.Shuttle Locations:

Due to narrow roads near Beaconsfield, shuttles cannot safely stop there. We recommend taking the Green Line C Branch from Dean Road, about a 4 minute walk.
Brookline Hills:

Suspension UpcomingGreen Line D Branch: Service will be suspended between Union Square and Lechmere, Nov. 11-17 due to track work. Riders can use bus routes 86 and 91 between Union and East Somerville Station on the Medford Branch.Extra Bus Service:
Route 91 will have increased frequency during weekday peak hours.
Additional Information:
No shuttle bus service to Union Square. Riders can instead use bus routes 86 and 91 between Union and East Somerville Station on the Medford Branch. These bus routes also travel to Sullivan Square on the Orange Line. Additionally, Route 87 travels between Union Square and Lechmere.

Shuttle UpcomingGreen Line E and D Branch: No train service between Park St and East Somerville from 8:30 PM on Friday, Nov. 15, through Sunday, Nov. 17, due to track work. Use shuttle buses between East Somerville and North Station. Use Orange Line downtown.Fare-Free Service:
Trains between Medford/Tufts and East Somerville will be fare-free.

- No shuttle bus service between North Station and Park St. Riders should instead use the Orange Line for parallel service through North Station and Park St.

No shuttle bus service to Union Square. Riders can instead use bus routes 86 and 91 between Union and East Somerville Station on the Medford Branch. These bus routes also travel to Sullivan Square on the Orange Line. Additionally, Route 87 travels between Union Square and Lechmere.

Accessibility Information
Shuttle Accessibility
All shuttle stops and vehicles are accessible. Shuttle buses may include accessible coach buses with stairs and lifts, or stair-free buses with ramps. Please be aware that during weekday peak periods, a majority of the shuttles may be high-floor coach buses.
Accessibility Policies
All MBTA employees and shuttle provider staff are required to honor all reasonable requests for assistance, including:
- Providing information or directions
- Providing sighted guide to and from shuttles and stations
- Getting a seat on a vehicle
- Deploying a shuttle bus ramp or lift
- Shuttle bus operators are required to clearly and loudly announce every station stop along each route.
- Service animals are welcome on all shuttle buses at any time.

The RIDE will not be impacted by this closure.
