In recognition of Autism Acceptance Month during April, starting today and through mid-May, the MBTA will play public announcements created by local children with autism spectrum disorder in stations across the system.

Ridership Spike on Marathon Monday: Worcester Commuter Rail Line and Green Line See Major Ridership Boost

MBTA Announces Service Information for the 2024 Boston Marathon

The Green, Red, Orange, Blue, and Silver lines will operate a regular weekday schedule on April 15 with additional service before and after the race. Bus Route 1 will operate on an increased Saturday schedule from 9 AM to 9 PM, allowing spectators fast, easy access to both sides of the Marathon route. The Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail Line will offer additional inbound and outbound trips on April 15. The $10 Weekend Holiday Pass on the Commuter Rail grants unlimited travel through all zones and stations all weekend and on April 15.

REMINDER: Shuttle Buses Replace Blue Line from Maverick to Wonderland on April 17-19, from Airport to Wonderland on April 20-28 for Critical Track Work

Evening Blue Line service is also suspended between Bowdoin and Orient Heights each day from April 9-11. This notice serves as a reminder of the upcoming Blue Line closure previously announced on March 15.
