BOSTON (CBS) – Police have arrested one of the two suspects accused of threatening and spitting on an MBTA bus driver last week.

Officers took 18-year-old Maurice Jones into custody on Thursday morning.

Jones and another man boarded an MBTA bus last Thursday but got into a dispute with the driver over the bus fare.

Jones is accused of threatening the driver by gesturing that he had a gun concealed in his waistband before he left the bus.

His accomplice, meanwhile, spat on the driver before running out of the bus.

Jones, who is from Roxbury, is set to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on a charge of assault by means of a dangerous weapon.
