As we progress with the construction of Orient Heights Station, it will be necessary to temporarily close the station from March 23, 2013 through mid-October . During this station closure, Blue Line train service will bypass Orient Heights Station and shuttle buses will be provided.
During this temporary closure, the parking lot at Orient Heights Station will remain open and available for customer use. Customers utilizing the Orient Heights Station parking lot will board the shuttle in the Bennington Street busway to connect to Blue Line service at Suffolk Downs. There will be no pedestrian access to the station from the Barnes Avenue busway. Pedestrian access to the station will be via Saratoga Street only.
Outbound passengers who need to return to the parking lot at Orient Heights should exit the Blue Line at Suffolk Downs Station and board the shuttle bus in the Walley St. busway on the racetrack side of the station.
Alternative parking is available at Beachmont and Wonderland Stations.
