11/09/2011: Fitchburg Line Improvement Project Receives $75 million
The MBTA along with the Montachusett Regional Transit Authority (the regional transit authority for the areas of Fitchburg and Leominster) plan to make significant improvements to the Fitchburg commuter rail line that will improve service and reliability on the 50 mile commuter rail line. Because of this project, two stations on the Fitchburg Line will be made accessible for customers with disabilities. Click on the link above to learn more.
