New fares for the MBTA Commuter Rail went into effect Friday, July 1, 2016. For more info, visit mbta.com.

Effective July 1st:
- The full fare 10-Ride ticket will only be available via the mTicket application. Half fare 10-Ride tickets will still be available on the paper CharlieTicket, as well as via the mTicket application.
- Any single ride ticket purchased from a ticket office, fare vending machine or vendor or 10-Ride ticket purchased prior to July 1st will be accepted until the expiration date printed on the ticket.
- There will no longer be refunds for any Commuter Rail tickets or passes.
- The full table with the new fares can be found on http://www.mbta.com/fares_and_passes/default.asp?id=24359 by clicking on the 'Click here for Full Fare Tables' link.

Please note that July monthly passes go on sale on June 15th and will reflect the new fares.
