Route 70 Advisories

Diversion on Route Nos. 43 ,64 , 70 , 86 , 93, and Silver Line Washington Street
Boston’s Run to Remember 
Sunday, May  26, 2013 
Approximately 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. 

Route No. 43: There will be no service to Charles Street South, Charles Street, Beacon Street, or Park and Tremont Streets. For outbound service to Ruggles Station, connections can be made at 285 Tremont Street. 
Route No. 64: Connections can be made at Central Square, Cambridge, and at North Harvard Street in Brighton. 
Route No. 70: Connections can be made at Central Square, Cambridge, and Coolidge Avenue at Arsenal Street.
Route No. 86: Connections can be made at Western Avenue at Arsenal Street in Brighton as well as in Harvard Square in Cambridge. 
Route No. 93: Inbound: All service will terminate at Haymarket Station for approximately one hour until the Boston Police Department reopens the street around 9 a.m. There will be no service to Franklin and Washington Streets, Devonshire Street, or Milk Street. The Route will terminate at Haymarket Street for the beginning of the road race. Connections can be made at Haymarket. 
Silverline Washington Street: Connections can be made at New England Medical Center for outbound service. There will be no service to Washington Street between Kneeland and Temple Place. There will also be no service to Temple Place or Tremont Street.

Street Closures on Route Nos. 70 and 71
Watertown Memorial Day Parade
Monday, May 27, 2013
11:30 a.m. -3 p.m. 

Due to the Watertown Memorial Day Parade, Watertown Square will be closed to vehicular traffic on Monday, May 27, 2013, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Route No. 70: Outbound: Buses will omit Main Street between Watertown Square and Gore Street. Connections can be made on Watertown Street at Galen Street and on Main Street at Beal Road.
Route No. 70: Inbound: Buses will omit Main Street between Howard Street and Arsenal Street and Watertown Square. Connections can be made on Main Street at Howard Street and on Arsenal Street at Irving Street.
Route No. 71: Outbound: Buses will omit Mt. Auburn Street between Arlington Street and Watertown Square. Connections can be made on Mt. Auburn Street at Keenan Street and at the Watertown Car House (Watertown Yard) on Galen Street.
Route No. 71: Inbound: Connections can be made on Mt. Auburn Street opposite Keenan Street and at the Watertown Car House (Watertown Yard) on Galen Street.
