Bidding and Solicitations
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Procurement function is primarily performed by two groups: Materials Management and Contract Administration (part of Design & Construction). For additional information on the two groups, and to register to receive (Materials Management) bid information via e-mail, please see the links below.
The MBTA is committed to provide business opportunities, whenever possible to all qualified vendors. These opportunities are provided in accordance with applicable State and Federal Guidelines.
We thank you for your interest in the MBTA's bidding and solicitations process and for doing business with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.
As of June 30, 2013, the MBTA Materials Management Department will no longer be mailing hard copies of, for example, IFBs, RFPs, RFQs, LOIs, and/or addendums via U.S. Mail.
