Here's how Charlie can work for you: 

• It's convenient. Load a monthly Local Bus or monthly LinkPass onto your CharlieCard at any of over 500 in-station fare vending machines. Or add stored value in advance of all your MBTA travel needs. Customize your CharlieCard to meet your needs, and you're good to go, any time.
• It's flexible. Self service in-station fare vending machines allow you to purchase ALL fares and passes using cash, debit and credit cards! You may purchase passes and store value on a CharlieCard at any subway station, Dudley Square, or Logan Airport.
• It's easy to use. In all subway stations, on the Silver Line, buses, and Green Line trolleys, your CharlieCard offers quick and efficient boardings.
