"Improving reliability was the top issue MBTA riders want to see addressed as MassDOT looks at ways to improve the transit system over the next quarter century.
A task force of MassDOT workers called Focus40 — referring to the year 2040 — collected more than 3,000 comments from riders of bus, subway and train lines in a survey to see where the MBTA needs to improve and where it should direct money in the coming years. The group delivered a presentation to the public last night at the MIT Media Lab."
