Buses replacing Green Line service due to Copley track work

BOSTON – Necessary track work near Copley Station will take place beginning at 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, until approximately noon on Sunday, December 18. As a result, the following accessible bus service will replace Green Line trolleys during this time in both directions, making stops at all stations:
- Boston College branch: Shuttle buses will replace trolleys from Arlington Station to Blandford Street.
- Cleveland Circle branch: Shuttle buses will replace trolleys from Arlington to Kenmore Stations.
- Riverside branch: Shuttle buses will replace trolleys from Arlington to Kenmore Stations.
- Heath Street branch: Shuttle buses will replace trolleys between Arlington and Copley Stations. Supplemental Route 39 bus service will be available between Copley and Northeastern (there will be no trolley service between Copley and Northeastern).
Locations of each shuttle bus stop are the following:
- Arlington Station: Inbound and outbound shuttle buses will be located at Boylston and Arlington Streets, adjacent to Arlington Station.
- Copley Station: Inbound shuttle buses will be located at Boylston Street at Copley Station. Outbound shuttle buses will be located at St. James Avenue at Dartmouth Street, adjacent to the Fairmount Copley Plaza.
- Hynes Convention Center Station: Inbound shuttle buses will be located on Massachusetts Avenue at Hynes Convention Center Station. Outbound shuttle buses will be located at Dalton Street at Boylston Street.
- Kenmore Station: Inbound and outbound shuttle buses will be located at Kenmore Square adjacent to the Boston University bookstore.
