Temporary Suspension of Green Line Service between Park and Haymarket Stations

BOSTON - On selected weekends and nights, Green Line service will be suspended in both directions between Park and Haymarket stations to allow for platform work as part of the Government Center Station project.

The diversion will allow personnel access to the Government Center Green Line platform and track area to perform necessary work. The project remains on schedule, and the station will reopen next month. The dates and times for the trolley service suspensions are as follows:

February 13, 14 - Train service will be suspended beginning Saturday, February 13, through Sunday, February 14. This will allow work on the Green Line to replace rail on the westbound track.

February 16, 17 & 18 - Regular service suspended starting at 9:00 p.m. and ending each night right before revenue service begins the following day

February 20 & 21 - Full weekend Diversion on the Green Line for the track department to replace rail in the Westbound track. Diversion begins after revenue service on Friday February 19, 2016 and ends before revenue service begins on Monday February 22, 2016.

February 22 - Regular service suspended once the Bruins game ends and the rush of customers subsides. Roughly 11 p.m. - 12 a.m. start time.

February 23 - Green Line service suspended beginning at 9 p.m. and ending before revenue service begins the next day.

February 24 & 25 - Service suspended once the Celtics games end and the rush of customers subsides. Roughly 11 p.m. on February 24, and about 10 p.m. on February 25, and ending before revenue service begins the next day.

Customers requiring further eastbound service from Park Street can take the Orange Line at Downtown Crossing. Customers requiring further westbound service from Haymarket can go to the Orange Line platform at Haymarket Station.
