Assembly Square MBTA Station Opening Sept. 2

The MBTA’s first new rapid-transit station in 27 years is set to open Tuesday at Somerville’s Assembly Square. Orange Line trains will begin stopping at the new Assembly station, between Wellington Circle and Sullivan Square, with the start of service Tuesday morning, according to a T spokesperson.
