Memorial Day, May 28, 2012 Service Schedule

The MBTA has announced its service schedule for Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2012.

Subway

• Red Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• The Orange Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• The Blue Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• The Green Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Silver Line

• The Silver Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Buses

• Buses will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• Express bus service will not operate.
• Special Memorial Day bus service will operate between Forest Hills Station and Saint Michael's Cemetery (Roslindale), Mount Hope Cemetery (Roslindale), and New Calvary Cemetery (Roslindale). Buses will depart from both upper and lower busways at Forest Hills Station between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.

Trackless Trolleys

• Route 71 will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• Route 72 will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• Route 73 will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Commuter Rail

• The Fairmount Line will not operate.
• The Needham Line will not operate.
• The Fitchburg/South Acton Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• The Framingham/Worcester Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• The Franklin Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• The Greenbush Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• The Haverhill Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• The Kingston/Plymouth Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• The Lowell Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• The Middleborough/Lakeville Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• The Newburyport/Rockport Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• The Providence/Stoughton Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• Special event Commuter Rail trains will be operating to Gillette Stadium for the 2012 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship.

Boat

• F1 - Hingham Shipyard to Rowes Wharf will operate not operate.
• F2 - Quincy Fore River Shipyard to Long Wharf and Logan Airport will operate on a Sunday schedule. Due to the Sunday schedule, there will not be a 10:15 P.M. trip made on Monday, May 28, 2012.
• On Sunday, May 27th, the F2 will operate on a Saturday schedule. There will be an additional departure trip from Quincy at 9:30 P.M. and a 10:15 P.M. departure from Boston.
• F2H - Pemberton Point, Hull to Long Wharf, Logan Airport will not operate.
• F4 - Inner Harbor Ferry service from Charlestown to Long Wharf will operate on a weekend schedule.
