Effective Saturday night on June 27, 2015, last subways will depart downtown stations at approximately 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights due to changes in the late-night program.

Last Red Line train from Alewife to Ashmont will depart at 1:49 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
Last Red Line train from Alewife to Braintree will depart at 1:38 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
Last Red Line train from Braintree will depart at 1:29 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
Last Red Line train from Ashmont will depart at 1:46 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.

Red Line: Upcoming

Sunday: Downtown Crossing: The Franklin St entrance will be temporarily closed on Sunday, July 5, from start to end of service to accommodate ongoing construction for the Millennium Tower Project.

Customers desiring to enter and exit at Downtown Crossing should instead utilize entrances and exits on Summer, Chauncy, and Arch Streets.

Customers desiring elevator access should note that Elevator 891 will be closed during this construction. If exiting, travel down the concourse to use the elevator through the glass doors and to the left of the CharlieCard Store. This elevator will take you to the lobby of 101 Arch Street. If boarding, travel to 101 Arch Street. Take the elevator in the back left corner of the lobby to the concourse. Take a right to find the Oak Grove-bound platform ahead.

Starting July 25: Buses replacing Red Line service between JFK/UMass and North Quincy Stations on July 25-26 from start to end of service.

Due to crews performing necessary performing work as part of the Winter Resiliency Improvement Program, buses will replace Red Line trains between JFK/UMass and North Quincy Stations in both directions from start to end of service beginning on Saturday, July 25, 2015, through Sunday, July 26, 2015. Regular Red Line train service will resume at the start of service on Monday, July 27, 2015. All shuttle bus stops are accessible for persons with disabilities.
