Newburyport/Rockport Line: Current

Rockport Train 2104 (12:00 inbound) is expected to depart 25-30 minutes late due to a late arrival of the outbound train.

Rockport Train 2102 (10:00 inbound) has departed Rockport and is operating 40-45 minutes behind schedule en route to North Station.

A shuttle bus will replace Newburyport Train 2152 (10:52 inbound) between Newburyport and Beverly. Passengers will then transfer to an inbound Rockport train.

Newburyport/Rockport Line: Ongoing

All Commuter Rail schedules will remain the same for the winter season with the exception of the Framingham/Worcester and Fitchburg Lines.

Effective December 14, 2015: All lines will have designated Severe Weather trains, which will not operate when reduced service for severe weather is announced.

Reminder: North subway entrance/exit to N. Station is permanently closed due to construction. Allow time to cross Causeway to access subway.

The north subway entrance/exit to North Station is permanently closed due to construction. A new underground passageway will be built in order to provide customers with a direct connection between the Commuter Rail, Green Line, and Orange Line. The new passageway is expected to open in approximately three years.

Passengers should use the entrance/exit across Causeway Street to exit and enter North Station. Extra MBTA Customer Service personnel will be available for the first month of the entrance/exit closure to assist customers.
